We’ve stayed here many times in the past and have never experienced brown water. Also, the manager of the resort told us this is a common problem that occurs on the site because they use well water. They did say I could shower in the pool area and then offered to refund us $40 in resort fees, which they never did. We were told that th resort was full and we would just need to let the water run for 15 minutes each time we wanted to shower. We talked to management and they wouldn’t do anything for us. This continued into the second night and the last morning we were there. He also told us that brown water would not hurt us. The front desk told us it was probably caused by copper pipes and maintenance told us it would probably clear up if we let it run for 15 to 20 minutes. I reported it first thing in the morning after testing it again and it was still running brown. When we tried to use the shower the 1st evening our water ran brown. We paid over $500 for 2 nights at the resort. ![]() Hotels near Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. ![]()
